Forged by Faith Ministries

Proverbs 27:17(ESV)  As iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

Who we are

We are a 501C3 nonprofit organization. The purpose of Forged by Faith Ministries is to help disciple and forge men into the image of Christ through experiencing God, reading God's Word, fellowship, worship, fitness, and other activities.

Mission

Forged by Faith ministries, through salvation, will help men claim God's Dominion & Authority over their lives through Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Through the gift of God’s grace, repentance, and obedience we are set free from shame, guilt, and condemnation. We will help each other to stay on the straight and narrow path the Lord calls us to no matter the affliction we may face.

1 John 1:9 (ESV)If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Vision

  • We will link arms with men and navigate the trials and tribulations of life through discipleship in the word of God, fitness, healthy food, and fellowship.

  • We will teach men and boys trades and skills that will be useful in their life which may one day help them provide for their families.

  • Forged by Faith Ministry will fight back against the enemy and stand together in community with men to walk in our God-given design.

Nehemiah 4:14 (ESV)  And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

Isaiah 54:16-17(ESV) Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy; 17 no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

What is the meaning of The Forge?

  • The anvil represents God's unshakable foundation.

  • The fire represents the refining fire of the Holy Spirit in us.

  • The hammer represents Jesus Christ and the nails driven into his hands to bear the weight of our sin. Jesus took it all so that we may be set free from our sins and be overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony. The hammer also represents being shaped and molded into the image of Christ.

Revelation 12:11(ESV) And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

Throughout life, we experience many trials. These trials help shape and mold us into the image of Christ. This process often requires heating, beating, shaping, and removing impurities (sin), so we are refined and can be used by God. This process is ongoing until death. This is the process of sanctification.

Hebrews 2:11 (ESV) For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers, 12 saying, “I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.”

Motivation

  • Men are starving for motivation, accountability, and brotherhood in their lives. God designed us to be there for one another.

  • Men and masculine virtues are under attack now more so than ever. Society needs men that are Strong: spiritually, physically and mentally.

  • There is a need for men to stand shoulder to shoulder as we battle the sin in our own hearts and stand firm in our beliefs in modern culture.

  • We care about women and children. We believe by helping men that women and children will be better led and protected.

Core Values

  • Through the Lord, we help empower men and give them the tools through the word of God to become better  Fathers, Husbands, and Leaders.

  • We seek to glorify God and through the holy spirit we can protect and provide for our families.

  • Through Christ, he will Forge our Hearts, Minds, Bodies, and Souls

  •  We TAKE ACTION and strive to be obedient to Christ while improving our Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finances.

  • We are a Brotherhood and community of Christian Men who are on a mission to bring the Gospel to bear in ourselves, our families, our community, our nation, and our world. We commit to speaking the Truth of the gospel.

John 8:31-32 (ESV) So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Pledge Statement

1 John 4:19: “We love him because he first loved us.” Through salvation and repentance, I am a new man of God. He took my sin by the finished work of the cross. I now walk in the Glory of the Lord. Through the strength of the Lord, he helps me choose joy in the suffering faced in this life. God’s grace is sufficient for all the days of my life. I will continue to keep my eyes fixed on Christ. I will navigate through this life depending on God, the Gospel, and the fellowship of my brothers. I will lead myself and my family in a way that honors the Lord. My legacy depends on being committed to the straight and narrow road God has called me to walk on.
